JODI: Russia keeps world 2nd largest oil producer position in July
MOSCOW, Sep 17 (PRIME) -- Russia maintained its position of the world’s second largest oil producer after the U.S. in July, when its output fell by 10,000 barrels per day, or by 0.1%, on the month to 8.778 million barrels per day, the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI) said in a report on Thursday.
The U.S. produced 11.035 million barrels per day, up 5.7%. Saudi Arabia increased its output by 13.3% to 8.479 million barrels per day.
